You can change your password from the Web Client. If you are an administrator with the Password permission, you can also change another user's password or create a temporary password for a new user.
Important:
Only the cms and cmssvc user IDs can grant or revoke the Password permission. You can use the Web Client to manage CMS user passwords. You cannot change the password for a Linux user ID, such as root.
Web Client password management is not available for LDAP-authenticated users or tenant users.
