Guidelines for modifying data storage allocation settings

Data storage configuration is done on a per-ACD basis. In a multi-ACD environment, data storage allocation should not be set too high as it can exceed the available capacity for other ACDs. Before modifying data storage allocation settings, consider the following:
  • The available capacity for your CMS server.
  • The number of ACDs on the CMS system and the information in each ACD. For example, number of agents, trunks, and so on.
  • The length of time for data to be stored. For example, 30 days versus 100 days versus two years.
