Modifying a custom calculation in the Web Client

You can modify custom calculations that you created. The calculation name is read only and cannot be changed.
Caution:
Do not modify standard CMS calculations. If you change a standard calculation, its meaning changes in every report that uses the calculation. Even if you can successfully run the affected reports, the results could be inaccurate and unpredictable.
  1. Navigate to AdministrationDictionaryCalculations.
    STEP RESULT:
    CMS Supervisor displays the calculations administered for the system.
  2. Click Modify next to the item you want to modify.
    STEP RESULT:
    The Modify Item window is displayed.
  3. In the Calculation field, update the formula for the calculation.
  4. Revise the information in the Description field.
    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
    You can enter up to 50 characters. This field cannot contain the pipe (|) symbol, a semicolon, or double quotes.
  5. Click OK to save your changes.
